What is Barre?



Have you heard of Barre? Many people have yet to discover what this fun and effective workout is all about. We’re here to help!

  • Barre originated based on techniques from ballet (But you definitely don’t need a ballet background to get started!)

  • Both women and men can benefit from Barre classes and workouts

  • You may be surprised that Barre has elements from Pilates, dance, yoga, and strength training

  • It strengthens muscles, increases muscle endurance, and it really gets your body moving!

  • Barre also increases balance and flexibility, and it improves posture as well

  • Barre is suitable for any fitness level, and it’s good for maintaining a healthy weight too

Taboota offers approximately 2,000 workouts from instructors around the world in six class types: Barre, Cardio, Core, Pilates, Strength and Yoga.
